The Woman’s Club of White Stone is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the promotion of educational, cultural, and philanthropic objectives, as well as the physical welfare of its members and the community at large. The club was organized in 1928 and has been at its current home at 560 Chesapeake Drive in White Stone, Virginia, since 1936. Our membership of approximately fifty women consists of both active and honorary members and is drawn from the Northern Neck and surrounding areas. Meetings are held year-round on the first Wednesday of the month, and annual dues of $35 per member contribute to our operation and programs. Our business meeting begins at 10 a.m., followed by a program and brown bag lunch that is supplemented by beverages and dessert provided by the club.
Members of the Woman’s Club of White Stone work together to give service to our local community by supporting projects, which both meet area needs and address the diverse interests of our members. Through our involvement, we find means for self-expression, grow intellectually, and build enduring friendships. We welcome new members, and those interested in membership are invited to attend a regularly scheduled meeting as a guest, if they wish, prior to submitting an application for membership.

Our Club building is an excellent site for meetings, parties, and similar functions. We are happy to rent it to interested parties on a half-day or full-day basis. In addition to our spacious common room, we offer a large, fully functional kitchen and mens’ and ladies’ restrooms. To speak to a Club representative about availability, rates, and requirements, please leave a message on our main line, 804-435-2180, and our representative will be in touch.
In addition to our monthly membership meetings, the club also offers a number of ongoing and special events over the course of the year. Proceeds from these events allow us to present as many as six or more scholarships each year to Lancaster County students who are attending Rappahannock Community College. These events include:
